When she is not Her

These submissions are, by and large, positive. There have, however, been a number of readers who have indicated that they are in relationships with difficult, even impossible women. Women who, no matter how well they are treated, treat their significant others with disdain, disrespect, indifference, or, a set of double-standards that St. John would find daunting. Remember, She (big S) is that one special woman who holds your heart.
If she won’t hold your hand in front of people she might find attractive, she is not Her.
If she demands of you while giving nothing, she is not Her.
If she belittles you, she is not Her.
If she shows disrespect for your family and dares you to defend them, she is not Her.
If she accuses you unjustly, she is not Her.
But……
If She will kiss you at a Chippendales show, She could be Her.
If She revels in your company She could be Her.
If She makes you want to be better than you thought you could be She could be Her.
If She respects your beliefs, especially if She disagrees with them, She could be Her.
If She (capital S) treats you like You (capital Y) then She is definitely Her.

She deserves everything you can do for Her. While not every woman is perfect for you, She (big S) is.
