Take the Reins

Taking the reins is another way of saying you should steer a relationship in a certain direction. You can step up and make a decision when everyone else is saying; “What do you want to do? I don’t know. What do you want to do?” Let them know you can lead. You are the one who gets out of the driver’s side when you arrive at your destination and everyone will know you got your party there. You are the one who made it possible for all to arrive safely and efficiently. You are obviously the captain, the master, the one in control, the king of the castle.
In a relationship with a woman, this is important. She truly appreciates a person who can take the reins and get you, as a couple, to where you should be. That’s not saying that She won’t tell you where you should turn or how fast you should drive, which exit to take, what speed the windshield wipers should be moving, how far your seat should be from the dashboard, or when you should and should not use the horn………………captain.
