Push Her Buttons

It’s not just about pushing the right buttons. It’s at least as important not to push the wrong ones. No one in his right mind would walk into a Hungarian nuclear missile silo with no experience and start pushing buttons and flipping switches. First, a missile launch platform is extremely complex, and second, it’s in a foreign tongue. Having a relationship with a woman is really very similar and just like any complicated training, it takes time, a willingness to learn and lots of practice to become someone who has any chance at survival. Over time, you will discover what makes Her happy and what flat out pisses Her off. You might notice that She stays a little closer to you after you mention how great Her hair looks today. You may also have observed that when your say something disparaging about Her weight or Democrats or Gerard Butler, She walks on the other side of the street and takes your keys. (And, if you don’t think there is a language barrier here, just say “Are You okay?” after that weight comment and see if you think Her response “Fine!” means what your Funk and Wagnalls says it does.) The trick is, to learn what each button does, avoid the wrong ones and push the right ones before you blow something up.
To sum up;
“Nice legs!” or “Let’s go see that Leonardo DiCaprio movie!”……………..Good. At peace.
“Brad Pitt isn’t that great.”or”Isn’t that dress a little tight?”………….. DEFense CONdition 1. War is imminent.
