Happy Valentine’s Day

She might say, “I hope you got me something good for Valentine’s Day!” or, “Valentine’s Day is a silly holiday, just made up by the card and chocolate companies to boost their sales. It doesn’t really mean anything.”

Now pay attention.

Regardless of which side of the great St. Valentine’s debate She champions,

I hope you got Her something good for Valentine’s Day!

FYI: Good = chocolatey, flowery, sweet smelling and/or sparkly.

I am on the other side.
While I agree that many women may say they don’t believe in this holiday but actually expect some nice surprise, there are also women(or girls, I don’t know where I stand) who say they don’t believe in this holiday and mean it 🙂
But I think the majority is the first case. 🙂

Thanks for the input Miss Audrey, You know where I stand. I think Her partner should give like it’s Valentine’s Day all year round. I also know that a lot of significant others need that push to get the romantic notions flowing. Either way, She should be treated with flowers, candy and kindness.

LOL! This is so true. I think Valentine’s Day is hokey… but for some reason if I don’t at least get a pat on the bum and a wilting tulip, I get bummed! I don’t think I would be as bummed, however, if it was a year-round thing… Here’s to hoping!
